About Us
The Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) is a student- led group at Alfaisal University and joint with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC). This group aims to promote community outreach, conduct workshops, facilitate mentor pairing, and organize research panels to enhance the knowledge and skills of students interested in emergency medicine. By fostering collaboration, education, and research opportunities, our EMIG aims to contribute to the growth and development of future emergency medicine professionals.

To become a leading student-driven platform in Saudi Arabia that inspires, educates, and empowers the next generation of emergency medicine professionals. We envision a community where aspiring physicians are equipped with the skills, confidence, and compassion to excel in high-pressure medical environments and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of emergency care.

Our mission is to cultivate a supportive environment for students interested in emergency medicine by offering opportunities for hands-on workshops, mentorship programs, and research initiatives. Through collaboration between Alfaisal University and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, we aim to bridge academic learning with real-world experience, fostering professional & personal growth of future emergency medicine leaders.
Our Founding Date
The Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) was founded in 2023 at Alfaisal University in partnership with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. Since its establishment, EMIG has worked to create educational opportunities, strengthen professional networks, and promote a culture of excellence in the field of emergency medicine.

into a student-driven group that fosters passion for emergency medicine
through growth, innovation, and impact. As Director, I have witnessed the dedication
of members and the opportunities EMIG provides for students to challenge themselves,
build skills, and connect academic learning with real-world practice. Beyond workshops,
mentorship, and research, EMIG has become a supportive community and a platform to prepare
future physicians for critical moments. Looking ahead, my vision is for EMIG to expand
its influence globally, inspiring and empowering the next
